Lou-Jan Duo

Even though we play in bands of all sizes and genres, the "Lou-Jan" duo is our most popular entertainment package. With Jan on accordion and Lou on trumpet, flugel horn, trombone, clarinet, flute and vocals, this versatile band can fit behind your sofa, we can play outside, stroll, fill up a big room with sound, do an Oktoberfest, Christmas Party, St. Patrick's Day Party, Mardi Gras, Italian Festival, wedding, funeral, birthday, anniversary, Scandinavian Festival, or just about any event you can think of.

A Review!

Lou and Jan played for a birthday party in January, 2019 and this was the clients's review. "I have to say that you and Lou were a perfect fit for the party. The music was great, the section of music was spot on, the costumes added to the fun and the volume was right on, people could talk and enjoy the music. Everyone was commenting on how good the music was.

Thanks again, Jimmy"

(Since the client had requested some polkas, Lou wore his lederhosen and Jan wore her dirndl)

Borelli's Octoberfest!

Sometimes our clients have a small Oktoberfest in their back yard for just a few family members and friends. They might not have the space for the whole band. We offer our "Ludwig and Auntie Hilda" Oktoberfest Package as an option. Here's a video clip of us playing an Augtoberfest (Oktoberfest in August) at a town concert in Paxton, MA.

This was at Scargo Tower in Dennis, MA, August , 2014

Cape Accordion in the tower - Dave Magliozzi James Gerke and Janet and Lou Borelli jamming in the tower.

Lou and Jan do an Oktoberfest Show any time of the year. We are called "Ludwig and Hilda". This is very popular at German Restaurants, Festivals, Concerts and private parties. Lou and Jan play and sing German songs, including "Schnitzelbank", "Sixteen Days of Oktoberfest", "Ein Prosit", "Vogeltanz", etc. We like to get the audience involved in the show. We teach the audience a German Dance, some German words and sometimes we have a yodeling contest or a German chocolate cake eating contest. It's really fun!

Lou and Jan do a Country Western Jamboree Show. This is extra fun if the audience wears country western hats and boots!

Lou and Jan do a Latin Festival Show with songs from Mexico, South and Central America, Caribbean, Spain, Portugal, Italy.

We have played on a bus, a train, a boat, in back yards, tents, country clubs, festivals, private homes, breweries, wineries, nursing homes, retirement communities, day cares, schools, colleges, museums, town gazebos, gardens, churches, hotels, restaurants, at the beach, on a farm, etc.

We have a variety of music to suit most needs and we will help you design a program which is unique to your party.
